BIOGRAPHY

Jeffrey W. Hagedorn is an attorney in private practice.

He was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1997, as well as the Federal Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s degree in Government and English. He received his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in 1996.

He served as an intern in the Indiana Office of the Attorney General from 1996 through early 1997, and then was named a Deputy Attorney General from 1997, serving in several different departments over the course of nearly six years, including Tort Litigation, Advisory Services and General Collections, representing multiple agencies of the State of Indiana in court as well as administrative litigation. He also served briefly as Supervising Counsel at the Indiana State Department of Health before joining the firm in 2002. He became a partner in 2008.

He has been representing Hoosier Energy Rural Electric Cooperative since 2002 as Associate General Counsel. In addition, he focuses his work on criminal defense, business law, corporate matters, real estate, wills, general estate planning, probate matters, as well as plaintiff’s personal injury and medical malpractice matters.

He resides in rural Troy, Indiana, with his wife, Anna, and their two daughters, Elena and Lily.
